Diane Harfield's porcelain flowers April 2011

I have side it so many times - I LOVE Diane’s courses. They are so relaxing although we do produce some wonderful flowers and usually many more than we anticipated and once again the course was a great success. 2 people were new to Diane’s courses -
Adele and Marlou who came from the Netherlands. Both had been at Tickhill on previous coures and it was lovely to see them again. They both did some beautiful specimens - orchids, daffodils, tulips freesias and many more. it is amazing how realistic the flowers look in the cold porcelain - such a lovely medium to work with.
It is impossible to say what everyone on the course did in terms of different flowers as everyone did so many different species. A few of us did 1/24th flowers which would be found in Provençe, to use in the house we are building with Jane Harrop, and others did 1/12th flowers of all kinds - Marlene did a fantastic bay tree which will be used in a wall hanging frontage of a gallery she is making.

Please go to the Gallery to see some of the flowers we created with Diane’s expert help.
